Victoria is another very gifted Rock School student. She started taking private guitar lessons in the summer of 2010, and quickly wanted to join a youth band. She joined one of our weekly summer youth band camps, and played her first show downtown on Bernard at the Mardi Gras festival. Victoria showed that she is a very good singer as well as a good guitarist. She is very influenced by Punk and Indie music.
Victoria has been playing with many students since joining the Rock School, and really enjoys writing original songs too. She has a great knack for coming up with really cool riffs on her guitar, and creating catchy hooks for her songs. Victoria is usually the most gifted song writer in most of her bands, but still likes to leave room for the other students to add to her songs, giving everyone a chance to put their stamp on it! She’s a real team player!
Victoria loves taking music lessons at the Rock School, and we know that she is going to be a great musician!
